Broadcast journalist Kontij Anthony has left the anchor desk at WMCTV5, Action News 5, Memphis, after thinking of reevaluating what she has to do during the COVID pandemic.
She joined the channel in 2005, and her contract expired recently on April 15. Let us have a glance at her leaving the show.

Her seventeen years of experience serving the Mid-South community has collected immense memorable moments, and she has said to cherish the days forever.
Her professional career was inaugurated at seventeen as a host for a high school television station. The same year she started working for TV stations in New York, Missouri, California, and North Carolina and finally made her path to Memphis and WMC.

Though she has left WMCTV5, she will continue anchoring the 5, 6, and 10 p.m. newscasts through mid-April.
Probably, she is giving some quality time with her husband Patrick Hendricks after the break from the show. On July 4, 2015, the couple tied knots in Memphis, Tennessee. There is no report of the couple being procreators till now.
